Now the question on many people's minds is, what or who is the best network marketing company. Why? Because they want a business that gives them the best chance to succeed. Well we invite you to read along as we delve into what constitutes the necessary qualities that the best network marketing companies possess. But first...
What is a Network Marketing Company?
Unfortunately, there are some uneducated opinions out there that lumps legitimate network marketing companies with ponzi schemes, airplane scams, gifting and other illegal activities. The facts, according to The Direct Selling Association, are this; to be classified as a real business the company has to be based upon the distribution of services or products through independent business owners / representatives in person to person transactions.
The contractors are not employees of the company and receive commissions off of their and their organization's sales. So if no goods or services are to be sold... that's a disqualifying red flag and caution should be used.
Operating Principles
Any great business should operate from a set of upstanding core guidelines. These guidelines should be rooted in legal and ethical rules for the protection of the independent business operators. They should be committed to creating a solid company for the long term stability of the people who get involved. It should have a lucrative compensation plan and the company must have a training system that ensures that every representative has a fair chance to be successful.
Identifying The Best from the Rest
Now I'm sure that most of us have visited more than one restaurant in our lifetimes. The difference between them is sometimes as different as night and day. (One time we visited a restaurant and a waitress became outraged because some patrons wanted water cleaned up before they were seated.) But no matter the proficiency of the eatery, they still had the right to be called a restaurant.
The same can be said about network marketing companies. So even if they meet the guidelines, the quality could cost you time and money and leave a bad taste in your mouth. The following will assist you by giving you a list to keep in mind on your quest.
A Great Network Marketing Company...
- Has been in business at least 24 months. (many businesses fail within their first two years; start-ups carry greater risk)
- The management team should have experience in the industry.
- The service or product should be highly consumable. (the consumer should want or need to use it over and over)
- The company should demonstrate that the independent business owners/representatives are the most important resource.
- The products or services should be sold to the general public also. (some companies promote making money primarily through internal consumption)
Above are a few important pointers on the best network marketing companies and what they should offer to their representatives.
